Montgenèvre holiday village

The natural site of Montgenèvre is the perfect place to get away from it all with your family. There are many trails available for snowshoe walking and cross-country skiing. Enjoy the atmosphere of serenity created by these beautiful landscapes. Just a few kilometres away, be sure not to miss the unforgettable Clarée Valley and the little chapel in Nevache.

Head for the slopes

Thanks to the size and diversity of the skiing area at the resort of Montgenèvre, you can head of to conquer many different slopes, try out the slalom slope or go night downhilling on one of your favourite slopes* (*during school holidays).

Alpine Skiing Package

The all-inclusive deal includes the alpine skiing package on the trans-border ski slopes of Montgenèvre-Mont de la Lune (except from 18 to 23/12: 4 days and from 01 to 07/01: 5 days). Special bonus, a free day at the Milky Way - Franco-Italian Ski Resort (400 km of slopes – subject to snow cover and resort opening schedule) and a “Grand Galaxy“ day: access to a day of skiing in each of the following resorts: Serre Chevalier, Alpe d’Huez, Les 2 Alpes, Puy St-Vincent. Departure by ski, subject to snow cover. Half-day discovery tour of the ski resort with ESF guides – reserved for adults (experienced skiers only)

Cross-country skiing package

The all-inclusive deal also includes the cross-country skiing package at the Montgenèvre ski resort in liaison with Clavière. Guided, cross-country skiing tours twice/week with our instructors organised throughout the season (adults only).

Equipment hire

You may hire equipment from the Village Club during your stay: alpine skis, cross-country skis, snow surfboards, snow boots, snowshoes and sledges   NEW : Now children’s helmets are now part of your hired equipment! You may choose to hire top-quality skis, surfboards and mini-skis from the Village Club (extra charge).

"Trapper" snowshoe excursions

Discover Nature on a snowshoe hike with guides from the Village Club du Soleil.

• Levels : easy to advanced excursions (validated by our qualified mid-range mountain guides).
• Locations: in the heart of an unspoilt natural environment (forest, woodland, small valleys, etc.) departure from the Village Club, on foot or by car depending on the excursion.
• Duration : half-day excursions
• Equipment provided : Shoes, snowshoes, cross-country skis, rucksacks

Discovering the ski resort

Each week, the Villages Clubs du Soleil and ESF instructors accompany you on a ½-day discovery tour of the ski resort. A fun way to get to know your new ski environment or to simply revisit the slopes of your favourite resorts (reserved for experienced adult skiers – minimum level class I).

Ski Progress : to advance at your own pace

To improve your skiing skills and enjoy yourself at your own pace, our Ski Progress lessons are perfect for parents or children, beginners or more experienced skiers.

• Levels : From beginners to more experienced skiers, adults and children from the age of 5 (according to level of skill).
• Duration: 5 half-day sessions
• Groups : Maximum of 10 people per group of similar level of skill
• Supervision : qualified instructors from the Ecole de Ski Français.
• Equipment: provided by the Village Club du Soleil.

3 hours of lessons/day, from Monday to Friday (except adult beginners 2 and ½ hours per day from Sunday to Friday except from 01 to 07/01: 3hours/Same day)

Surf Progress : All the fun of snowboard sports

Surfboard Progress lessons will introduce you or help you perfect your snow surfing skills in a safe environment.
Come and enjoy the fun of snowboard sports with the whole family or with friends !

• Duration: 5 half-day sessions.
• Levels : for beginners to more experienced skiers, for adults and children from the age of 7 (according to the level of skill).
• Groups : group of max. 10 persons of the same level.
• Supervision : qualified instructors from the Ecole de Ski Français.
• Equipment: provided by the Village Club du Soleil.
