Flaine holiday village

The Flaine Village Club offers no less than 73 ski lifts so you can ski at your own pace! For those who prefer to relax, sit and contemplate the stunning scenery at Flaine to your heart’s content as well as 13 km of cross-country ski runs.

Ski + equipment package

Your ski pass from the day after arrival to the day before departure (except for the week  18 to 23/12: 4 days and from 01 to 07/01: 5 days) includes access to the Grand Massif. Equipment hire: Alpine skis, snow surf boards, snow boots, snowshoes, sledges. NEW : Children’s headgear is included in your rented equipment. If you wish, you can also hire top-of-the-range skis and snowboards and mini-skis (charges apply) at the Village Club.

"Trapper" snowshoe excursions

Part of the all-inclusive deal(adults only)
Take a snowshoe hike with guides from the Flaine Village Club du Soleil and discover the surrounding natural environment.

• Levels : easy to advanced excursions (validated by our qualified mid-range mountain guides).
• Locations: in the heart of an unspoilt natural environment (forest, woodland, small valleys, etc.) departure from the Village Club, on foot or by car depending on the excursion.
• Duration : half-day excursions
• Equipment supplied : snow boots, snowshoes, rucksacks

Discovering the ski resort

Once a week, Villages Clubs du Soleil and instructors from the French Ski School provide supervision for a half-day’s   tour of the skiing area. A fun way to get to know your new ski environment or to simply revisit the slopes of your favourite resorts (reserved for experienced adult skiers – minimum level class I).

Ski Progress : to advance at your own pace

To improve your skiing skills and enjoy yourself at your own pace, our Ski Progress lessons are perfect for parents or children, beginners or more experienced skiers.

Levels : for beginners to more experienced skiers, for adults and children from the age of 6 (according to the level of skill).
Duration: 6 half-day sessions.
Groups : group of approximately 12 people with a similar level of skill.
Supervision : Qualified instructors from the Ecole du Ski Français.
Equipment: provided by the Village Club du Soleil. 3 hrs of lessons/day, Sunday to Friday, morning or afternoon. 2 ¾ hrs of lessons/day from Sunday to Friday in the February school holidays.  Lessons given in groups by ability (beginners to advanced).

Surf Progress : All the fun of snowboard sports

Surfboard Progress lessons will introduce you or help you perfect your snow surfing skills in a safe environment. Come and enjoy the fun of snowboard sports with the whole family or with friends !
Levels : from beginner to more experienced levels for adults and children from the age of 8.
Duration: 6 half-day sessions.
Groups : group of approximately 12 people with a similar level of skill.
Supervision : Instructors certified by the French Ski School.
Equipment: Provided by the Village Club du Soleil all week.

3 hrs of lessons/day, Sunday to Friday, morning or afternoon. 2 ¾ hrs of lessons/day from Sunday to Friday in the February school holidays.  Lessons given in groups by ability (beginners to advanced).

- Book and pay for lessons at the time of reservation only.
- Opening hours and information directly from the ESF at the Village Club on the day of arrival.
- Separate adult / children lessons
- Group lessons according to level of skill (beginners to advanced).
- Fixed hours set by the French Ski School (cannot be changed).
- Services provided subject to the number of children registered.
