Available in each Village Club, the Mountain Area is the meeting point for those who love snowy landscapes. A place of contact and exchange, you will find all the information you need to enjoy the various mountain activities on offer.
Certified guides meet you there and share their knowledge and passion to improve your skills, introduce you to new disciplines and explore superb landscapes.

In every Village Club, our team of professionals awaits you at the Ski Workshop and provides you with help and advice on choosing equipment. Serviced every weekend, the equipment we offer is high quality, efficient and selected from the best brands.

*Snowboards suitable for all levels (according to availability on the day)
* Evolution skis: multipurpose equipment suitable for all levels
* Cross-country skis: at Orcières 1850 and Montgenèvre only
* Snowshoes, shoes (ski shoes from size 25 to 50 inclusive), ski poles, sleds and rucksacks.

The Mountain School
Launched in the summer of 2008, the Mountain School was developed to enable everyone to enjoy the mountains in a professional setting combining friendliness, discovery and learning.
This truly modern school offers a chance to get to know the mountains in all its forms, to improve throughout your stay and leave well-equipped to try out the activities on offer, in total safety.
Walking in trapper snowshoes
Les Villages Clubs du Soleil Mountain guides are there to help you to learn about snowshoe walking, where you can explore the mountains at a gentle pace. Enjoy the pleasure of walking with friends or family, the shared happiness of simple, peaceful moments trekking on trails or enjoying an outdoor picnic.
Nature & Discovery programme in Superbagnères: reconnect with nature by going on snowshoe walks with mountain guides from the Village Club du Soleil, heritage trails, etc.
Supervision: certified mountain walking guides.
Levels: From easy to sporty, our guides are familiar with these routes>
Locations : Forest, woodland, small valleys, along the riverbanks... departing from each Village Club, on foot or by car depending on the excursion.
Duration: Full or half-day trapper walks.
Equipment rental included: snowshoes, shoes, ski poles and rucksack.
